Technical Author required by an successful software company based in Southampton Hampshire. Due to continued success and consistent growth the organisation now seeks a Technical Author with some relevant experience, ideally from a similar 'software house' environment.The successful candidate is likely to have a strong academic background with an interest in software development and/or technical writing/authoring.

The successful candidate play an itegral part in technical authoring the company's software documentation including writing content, designing material etc.

Core technologies at the company are C++ and Java.

- Experience with XML and associated tools is preferred.

- Any experience of DITA would be a bonus, but is not essential.
